What is Staging®?
When you get ready to place your home on the market for sale it becomes a product. Similar to a product on the shelf at your local store, the product has features and benefits as well as pluses and minuses, and competition. To compete with the competition in the marketplace you must be priced right and look better than the other products. Your home is no different, it is one of many homes for sale and you must present it, to the buyers, in the best possible light.
Staging® is the process of preparing any home for sale, regardless of price or location. Using a proven professional set of guidelines, your house is reviewed for compliance with preset standards, and any modifications are made if necessary. Once your house meets these criteria, a Staged® Home Certificate will be issued and your home will be registered as a Staged® Home. This entitles your home to a special marketing program developed to promote those homes who have been designated as Staged® Homes. This unique system has proven to help sell homes faster and/ or for more money. Real estate agents will have great confidence in showing your home to potential buyers because they know it is Staged® and ready to be sold.

An Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) from Real Appeal will provide a room-by-room comprehensive Recommendations Report to evaluate and enhance your home's market appeal indoors and out. The one to two hour walk-through consultation, will address all areas of concern including cleanliness, clutter, repairs, re-arrangment of any furniture, accessories and correct placement of lighting. Further recommendations may include possible paint or wallpaper neutralizing. The Recommendations Report provides reasonable solutions to highlighting your home's best features. This service is recommended for those homeowners who have the talent and the time to execute the action items outlined in the Recommendations Report. Flat Fee: $175 CDN
Staging a Furnished Home:

Hire the experts at Real Appeal to execute the work needed to get your home ready for it's first open house. Real Appeal will transform your home so it shows at its very best. We will work through your home, room-by-room, top to bottom, inside and out. Our staging work involves re-arranging and editing furniture, accessories and artwork to create a great first impression. The cost to stage an average furnished three-bedroom house is $450 CDN.
Staging a Vacant Home
Most people find it hard to visualize the potential of an empty home. That's why Builders employ the use of Model Homes. Carefully staged bignettes enhance the look of a home allowing potential buyers to imagine the rooms for their intended use. That's the same theory that is used by an Accredited Staging Professional. We create the effect of a model suite and turn a vacant space into warm, inviting house. Real Appeal will supply all the required furnishings, accessories, artwork and lighting. No need to worry. The average cost for staging a vacant three-bedroom home is approximately $450 CDN, plus the furniture rental costs.
Real Appeal has built an inventory of tasteful furniture and accessories that can be rented temporarily. The average vacant home requires furniture rental for a living room, dining room, kitchen and one or two bedrooms (depending on the size of the house.) Furniture and accessories can be rented on a weekly or monthly basis. You only pay for the furniture you need - until the house sells.
